Online Education System – Its benefits and how it can be improved further.

According to Swami  Vivekananda, education must lead us to perfection and we are getting education by means of formal and informal methods  of learning.

Up to the 20 th century we depend on formal education , liberalization, globalization,and privatization leads to rapid development in technology. At the same time telecom revolution also took place ,these gave good support to non formal education and online education. Online education inevitable at the time of lock down due to covid 19 time 

Teaching and learning take  place even without physical contact by means of different Media and technology is called online education.

For this purpose we use different apps like zoom ,google meet ,etc.television  also used as a tool for online classes where we cannot reach students due to lack of network and mobile phones.

Benefits  of online education

1 It is possible to reach more students at a time .

2 It's cost effective because one teacher facilitates   more students in stipulated time.

3 Remote area students those who facing transportation problems get education from their homes

4 There  is flexibility for students to learn at their  own pace, so it reduces stress on children to learn.

5 Technical skills like using gadgets operating computers will indirectly help in their future life .

6 There is    More Opportunities for interaction in online classes than traditional bulky classrooms  .

How online education can be improved

1 Infrastructure like the mobile Network , all time electricity  should be improved .

2 Proper training should be given to teachers to handle the devices and technology 

3 Parents should guide students properly to attend the online classes 

4 Both facilitators and learner's should cultivate online manners

5 All must take care about our eyes and ears and preventive measures can be taken
